Be Safe - Be Seen
It’s the time of year again when dark and rainy nights make it difficult for motorists to see pedestrians. Even when drivers proceed with caution, it's hard to see pedestrians when visibility is poor. That's why this past October the North Vancouver Rotary Club got out in the community and distributed pedestrian safety reflectors by donation. While the campaign was a success, there's more we can do to be safe out there. Next year we will be back out in larger numbers looking to help keep our community safe and seen!

Welcome to the Rotary Club of North Vancouver!
Do you want to give back and contribute to positive change in your local community and broader world - and have fun while you’re at it?
Rotarians are do-ers who share a passion for community service and friendship. If that sounds like you, we're always on the lookout for new members! Just drop me an email @ kevine@telus.net.
The ideas for most of our community projects come from club members themselves. In October and November we're tackling the issue of pedestrian safety during the dark and rainy months by distributing pedestrian safety reflectors by donation and running a social media public awareness campaign. One of the club's members was concerned about how tough it is to see pedestrians at night - and the club decided to follow up as a group.
We invite you to explore this website as your window into the world of the North Vancouver Rotary Club and "Service Above Self."
